GOAL

LibrariaVOX is an educational audio-logical platform based on the needs and interests of students who “read differently.” It creates the conditions and opportunities for children with visual impairments to read any material in text, audio, or DAISY format, helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and values required by society. It allows students who cannot read directly from paper to access information independently, to exercise their right to contribute to their own well-being and that of society, and to face life’s challenges constructively.

VISION

Vision: A special education system based on the principles of inclusion and learning for all, regardless of learning difficulties — one that enables children with visual impairments to develop their full potential and personal well-being. It relies on the highest levels of assistive and educational technology as a key ally in helping children with special educational needs to learn, communicate, and integrate equally with everyone else in the wider community.

The vision of our resource center aims to build a special education system that successfully addresses the individual needs of all children and students, treating them equally and with respect based on their diversity. Accessibility and inclusion are essential prerequisites to ensure the development of all individuals with visual impairments to their full potential — reducing the educational achievement gap between different groups and enabling equal integration into society.
